Merry Meet!

Please be aware that i'm running this whole show on my own, and sometimes am swamped with certain tasks. Also, it may sound crazy, but once a month or so i need a day off.

So please be patient. It generally takes a few days for me to reply to emails.

If you don't hear back from me within a week, though, your email may not have gotten to me... or (more likely) my response to you has been blocked by your email server.

What to Expect after Enrolling
(& How to Complete the Enrolment Process)

Once you've selected a payment option, your enrolment process began.

Immediately after, you should have received an email, with information to follow for the next steps in your enrolment process:

Completing your registration form. If you haven't yet done this, you can find the form here: Register in the Course.
Be sure to give alternate email and phone number so that I can reach you if my emails are being bounced.
(You'd be surprised how often I've needed that information to contact students that I couldn't reach any other way!)

Whitelisting both these email addresses with your email server(s) —
- @wicca-spirituality.com
- @aweber.com

Verifying your email subscription, when you get the confirmation email.
This is how your lessons are delivered, so this is a crucial step.
If you haven't received or found your confirmation email, please read this.

You can login to get started at Student Central.
This is also where you can find updates of what's going on with the course and email replies, find out the current Moon phase and upcoming Sabbat, and more.

Your account details and login info also came with that email, including your automatic password.
You can change your password if you like, by "Updating Your Account Information" on this page: Update Login & Password
NOTE: If you change your login info (but not your password), you need to let me know so that I can find you for future Support problem-solving.

And your first lesson will be sent out immediately.

Not Receiving Emails

First, don't panic.

Sometimes email delivery can be slow. Give it a day or so to come through.

But if you stop receiving emails, and can't find them in your spam/junk folders, chances are that your email server is bouncing our emails.

Make sure you have...

Whitelisted @wicca-spirituality.com and @aweber.com with your email server. If you've changed the email address your lessons go to, be sure to whitelist with the new server. (For help with whitelisting, see: How To Whitelist )

Confirmed your email subscription.
Since that's how the lessons are sent out, this means you won't receive your Year And A Day lessons until you do.
Check your email for the confirmation email. If you can't find it, check your spam and junk folders.
You should also search your mail or computer for try searching for "A Year & A Day" — that should show you where they are.
If you can't find it, contact me to resubscribe with a different email server.

Look in the actual email address that prior lessons were sent to — the email that Paypal uses (please double check)

Filled in the Registration Form. You would've received that right after enrolling, but here's the link again: Register in the Course.
Please send that in as soon as you can (and be sure to give alternate contact info -- you'd be surprised how often that's been necessary!).
That'll sort out a glitch or two.

If you are using Yahoo or Gmail for your email, try another server.
Yahoo and Gmail both are notorious for bouncing emails, even when they've been whitelisted.

If none of these work ... Be sure to let me know! After a few bounces, the system automatically unsubscribes you, so you won't get any future emails either.

PLEASE NOTE: This also means you may not receive replies from me, either! So be sure to use the Troubleshooting form, and give me multiple ways of reaching you. Believe me, if you write to me, I will answer... if there's any possible way to reach you.

(Please bear in mind that it may take up to a week, in some cases.)

Not Receiving Any Emails?

If you're not hearing from me at all, no replies to your emails etc., please see this section Haven't Got a Reply from Erin.

AND, check out the Support & Service Updates on the top of this page — if there's a technical problem, or I'm away, this will let you know.

When to Expect the Lessons to be Delivered

Your first lesson comes out to you as soon as you've completed your enrolment AND confirmed your email subscription.

After that, it's all set up in an automatic system so that your lessons go out once a week, like clockwork. So look for your next lesson 7 days after you've received your first one.

(It goes by when you confirmed your email address, rather than when you clicked the pay button or filled out your registration form.)

If you can't find a lesson at that time, odds are it got lost in a junk/spam folder — try searching for "A Year & A Day" in your email program... that should bring it up.

If you can't find it even in junk/spam folders, then your email server is bouncing our emails back. (This is particularly a risk if you're using Yahoo mail or Gmail.)

Changing Your Email Address

If you want to get your lesson emails at a different address, go to any of your lesson emails, and scroll down to the very bottom.

Click on "Change Subscriber Options".

This takes you to a Subscriber Information page, with your email and name etc.

Below your name, click on "Edit Contact Information".

Then simply type in the email address you'd prefer to use, and click "Submit".

Final step: email me with your original and new email addresses, so that I can update your files and find you in case you need Support in the future.

Please Note: This won't change how I contact you, just where the lessons go. To change the email address I write to, please contact me directly to update my files.

Recover or Change Your Password

If you've lost your password, click here to recover it.

It'll be sent to the email address you signed up with (the one used by Paypal).

Once you've logged in, you can change your password. Passwords can be anything that fit these requirements:

Password is limited to 100 characters in length

There is no limitations on which characters may be used

Passwords are case-sensitive

How To Log In

This is the easiest! Logging in is only required when you want to see the lessons (or to check out Student Central and some of the resources there).

When you want to read a lesson, simply click on its link in the email, and you'll be taken to the login page. You’ll automatically be prompted to login, and then just-as-automatically you'll be taken to that lesson.

The only time it doesn't work that way is if you use the wrong login name or password... then you'll be taken to a page to try logging in correctly. After that, you automatically go to Student Central. You'll need to click the link in the email again to go to the lesson's page. Still pretty easy-peasy.

Accessing Your Supplemental Materials (for Star*Students)

Your supplemental materials are delivered in your lesson emails, along with the password needed to unlock them, each week.

I recommend storing them all in a special folder, so you can find them later.

If you have any trouble with this, here's what to do...

Downloading

When you download and open the Zip files, they are automatically stored on your computer.

You may be given an option of where to save them, but if not, just check the normal place your downloads go.

Or search for "ayaad-" on your computer. Every lesson's supplemental materials will have that in the name: e.g., ayaad-1-something.zip.

Password for Unzipping or Unlocking the PDFs

The ZIP files are accessed by the passwords that go out in each lesson’s email, right below the link you use to download them. Each week's password for the supplemental materials will be different.

NOTE: This is entirely unrelated to the password you use to access the lessons. You received that password when you first enrolled, and it's always the same.

After the explanation of what this week’s lesson is about, you’ll see something like this in the email:

You'll need this to authorise the opening of this file, the special word of the week: sampleword. (Note: non/capitalisation and empty spaces count.)

The italicized word or phrase is the password for that lesson’s ZIP file.

Un-Zipping

Most computers come with automatic unzipping software. If you can't unzip you may need an application to help.

For PC: You can get WinZip from the following link — https://winzip.com

Can't Download or Open on Mobile

Please note that sometimes they don’t open properly on other mobile devices, so try using a desktop or laptop to get the files, and then you can put them wherever you need.

If you’re trying to open the zip/pdfs in mobile, I would recommend these options:

NOTE: We’re in process of switching over (a long, slow process ) to the new learning platform. The downloads there are going to be streamlined for one-click access, so if you can’t get it to work with these tips, just know that there is an easier way in progress.

Problems Unzipping

If you've been able to unlock other supplemental materials, the first thing to check is that you’re using the password correctly:

no spaces

no capitals

no quotation marks

the correct word for this week

If the Problem Persists

If these don't work, the problem is most likely with your computer.

Sometimes it’s necessary to clear your browser’s cache, shut down the computer, and start fresh. Try these fixes: Computer Glitches .

Progressing Through the Course

Syncing with the Seasons / Sabbats

The Wicca School course is ongoing... you can join whenever you wish. You don't have to do the lessons along with the calendar of seasons.

But if you want to know more about it, here's how it works...

If you join 3-4 weeks before Imbolc, you go through the lessons in alignment with the seasons and Sabbats.

That means you receive the lesson about Fire in the corresponding Summer season, and you receive the lessons about the Sabbats about 4-7 days in advance of them, giving you time to prepare for each celebration.

I personally think that's the ideal way, but most people don't bother with the calendar and just take it whenever they can. So few things in life are truly "ideal."

Some people actually prefer taking them separate from what's going on with the calendar, so they have more time to go through the lessons and prepare. Some say they like not being on the synced schedule — less pressure and such... and they like having a lot of the lessons under their belt before they start really celebrating the Sabbats. And some want to study a lot before doing their Dedication.

Then for all the Sabbats after this year, they'll be more than ready!

Other people prefer to get the lessons at the same time as the seasonal holidays are celebrated.

It's really up to you, and whatever you think will work best for you.

I don't know that it's better to wait, really. Who wants to wait any longer than necessary for this kind of wonderful experience!

Enrolled in Accelerated Program

If you enrolled in January or early February, you were automatically placed in the Accelerated Course (or Program).

This means that instead of receiving your early lessons every 7 days, you'll receive them sooner.

By doing the first lessons quickly, you can catch up with the synced class... which allows you to learn about the Sabbats in time to celebrate them, and study the Elements in their appropriate season.

If you wish to NOT catch up, please email me and I'll remove you from the accelerated program.

Catching Up with the Synced Lessons

If you started in January (or July, if you live south of the equator), and you want to do some quick catch-up work, you could still switch classes and take the lessons in line with the Sabbats.

You'd need to email me to get this set up.

The catch is that you'd need to do the 3 preparatory lessons really quickly.

If that doesn't give you enough time, then the best thing is just to go with where you are now.

I'm not sure when it's "too late" to catch up... it depends on your motivation and speed of reading.

But once past Eostara, it's best to let go of the idea to do them in sync.

Do I Need to Send In the Review Answers ?

The questions in the section “A Wiccan Initiate Needs to Know” are for your own benefit.

The questions are designed to do 3 things:

Alert you to the most important parts of the lesson

Be sure you've understood what a Wiccan needs to know

Help you assimilate the information on deeper levels than mere short-term memory

So there’s no need to send the answers in; just use them as the learning tool they are. Your next lesson will come out on schedule, regardless. (If you're not receiving lesson emails on time, please see When to Expect the Lessons to be Delivered.)

How Long Should the Lessons Take?

It's really hard to say how much time it'll take any one person: everyone's different.

I'd say the minimum needed by most people is an hour or so for the reading, and most weeks 1 - 3 hours for the Adventures.

But it depends. Maybe your reading speed is slower than that — often a good thing! It means you're probably taking the information deeper within!

And some lessons are more complex, or simply longer than others.

Ultimately, it's meaningless to think in terms of how much time you should spend on the lessons. The more important question is... how much are you getting out of them?

After all, you're not doing this just to get it over with, right?

You're doing this to really learn something, to experience spiritual reality, maybe to change yourself in a positive way. So think in terms of what you can bring to this training.

What you get out of it is proportional to what you put into it, of course… just like everything else.

Going Through the Lessons Faster

You may want to rush through the course, to fit into a space of free time or whatever. Or maybe you're just a fast reader, or you've already learnt some of this stuff.

There's a reason the course goes at this pace, however.

It's not just about gathering information… it's about spiritual growth!

That takes time... time to give yourself to the experience, and time to integrate it all so that it becomes not just something you learned, but something you know.

So you're not getting an advantage by going through faster. Believe me, this pace is already hyperspeed for spiritual development!

This is how the course was developed for maximum potency. And there isn't a way to speed it up, since it was never designed for that.

So I invite you to make use of it to the best of your ability. With extra time, you'll be able to dive really deeply into the practices and learn the core materials thoroughly!

This will make a big difference in your future experiences as a Wiccan.

What To Do If You Can't Keep Up?

It might make you feel better to know that you're definitely not alone — not by a long shot! In fact, I expect that almost all of my students have this feeling.¹

¹ There’s actually a lesson on this topic of overwhelm (and also procrastination, which may be related).

There's a lot to take in, in a relatively short period of time. Not to mention we all have other obligations and demands on our time.

This is an intensive spiritual education, and it's not easy to keep up with that.

Partly, it’s by design. Any spiritual development course is going to be very intensive, one might even say relentless, if it’s going to really work and create significant awakening. Partly, it’s just a function of so much to learn in a limited time.

It’s a challenging commitment — not to the course, as such, but to your spiritual life — so I applaud you for being brave enough and strong enough to follow it through!

By doing this kind of spiritual work, you are investing in yourself. One thing I can promise is that the rewards will be more than you can imagine... and will benefit your entire life!

How to Cope

Don’t worry too much about not taking it all in.

You can skim quickly through what seems less vital. (It's hard to know, ahead of time, what's going to be really important, but you can go back to something if necessary.)

For instance, you can focus on the techniques and skills you'll need for ritual and Energy work, because those you'll need for future lessons.

Do what you can; make it work for you however you can — if that means skimming or even skipping some lessons, so be it!

It’s far better to do what you can
and leave the rest,
than to feel like dropping it
because you can’t do it all.

The intention isn't that this course should be a source of extra stress. Ideally, it can be an opportunity to shift how you deal with stress or overwhelm.

Many of us tend to have very high expectations of ourselves, and are hard on ourselves when we fail to reach the high mark we set. Please consider: you are perfect, as you are!

You probably don’t need to try quite so hard — try to relax and be more easygoing with the process. And with life.

This May Help...

It may take some of the pressure off to know that you'll be able to audit the course for a second year, for a small maintenance fee. You’ll have an opportunity to go through the entire course again — a chance to catch up on anything you missed.

One thing I can do is reassure you that it’s not always so intense. There’s a sort of break, a lighter schedule, in the middle of the course... and opportunity, later on, to just practice what you've learned.

Basically, I’d encourage you to just go on, and to keep your eyes on the prize — the happiness, empowerment, self-knowledge, Earth-awareness, and connection with the Divine, not to mention indispensable skills, that you are gaining, week by week.

And (it bears repeating) not be too hard on yourself about what you can’t do.

If You're a Very Slow Reader, or Have Limitations that Slow You Down

Part of spiritual development is, as Dolly Parton put it, figuring out who you are and then being that on purpose. In other words, honour your own way of going through this, even (especially) when it's different from what others might do (or expect).

If you find that you just can't do the course the way that's recommended (or the way you'd like to), all I can say is...

Just do what you can, and be kind to yourself about it.

That's all anyone can do!

In any case, every little bit of personal growth and spiritual devotion is great — certainly way better than not doing it at all.

You may get a gentler, slower introduction to Wicca and the Divine and yourself. But you're still getting a lot of benefit.

In fact, who's to say that's not better?? You’ll be able to take the learning deeper, integrate it more fully into yourself, be more deeply transformed by it!

Super Support

There's one more thing to consider...

I've programmed an Energy into these lessons, so that even just reading them, in fact even just receiving them and having them in your inbox, you get uplifting spiritual Energy and support — the most important thing you need to get from your Year-and-a-Day!

I also regularly ask angels to support all the students.

And you’ve no doubt asked the Goddess to guide you and support you in this.

There’s energetic support for you on your spiritual journey... you’re not truly doing it all alone. Remember to ask for support, and to lean back into Her arms when it feels like it’s too much.

Summing Up

In the final analysis, your Year-and-a-Day will be exactly what you need it to be.

And you can go back to redo anything you need to.

It's all good.

The members of this group and the posts in it can only be seen by other members... that is, only current students of this Wicca School course who've asked to join. (Graduates will have their own ongoing forum.)

NOTE: Your posts and comments will/may show up in your own newsfeed, but that's because YOU are a member of the group. People who aren't in this group won't see your posts nor comments.

You can double check this by going to your page (where you can see your profile photo and cover photo, it's in a pull-down at the bottom right of the cover photo). Select "View as..." and then choose public or type in a friend's name, and that's how you can see for sure that it's private.

Facebook Option for Privacy

One option I could suggest is to start another FB account under an assumed name, and use that for your Wiccan stuff.

If you avoid posting personal info or collecting friends on it, through which you could be searched, I believe it’s a pretty safe alternative.

Forum Guidelines

Please introduce yourself once you've joined. Sharing a bit of info about you and/or what brought you to Wicca or this Wicca School would be great!

Please follow the etiquette rules for the forum: Kindness, Compassion, Patience, Respect, Politeness... and above all CONFIDENTIALITY.

Take care not to share anyone else's experience -- or presence in the group/school -- without permission. (You can talk about "I heard someone say ___________ and it made me realise ___________. Just leave out who and where you heard it.)

Regarding graphics: I try to discourage pirating pictures, yet I know you'll come across beautiful images you want to share. A compromise: please be sure to post the artist's name and, wherever possible, a link back to her/his site. Thanks!

Trouble Getting Access to the Forum

First thing, try the Forum Sign-Up form. If you've filled one out, and you still can't get in, please try it again and double-check your email address that you use to sign in with Facebook.

Please make sure that the email address you give us is the correct one for your Facebook account — i.e., the one that you use to login to Facebook. Having the wrong eddress for Facebook is the #1 reason that people can’t get in to the forum.

A Work-Around

In a couple situations, students were able to get to the forum, and read the posts, but had trouble posting something themselves.

This was resolved by Commenting on someone else's post... after that they were in! Might give that a try.

Ongoing Problems

If you are using the correct FB email address, and you still can't get access, I'm sorry to say there's nothing more we can do from our end.

There are 2 more avenues to explore. It may be a glitch in Facebook or on your device.

Mobile devices are more prone to difficulty; have you tried from a computer or laptop?

Also, try the usual: Computer Glitch Fixes.

If that doesn't work, you'd need to contact Facebook, because that's where the problem lies. I know that's not a great option; they don't have much for support. But hopefully they can help.

I know that Facebook doesn't work for everyone. However, unfortunately that’s the only way we can offer a students' forum at this time.

Can't Access Lessons

There are 6 reasons this might happen:

Payment failed to go through on time (Skipped)

Payment has failed (Payments Suspended)

Incorrect Login Info

Your Year-and-a-Day has ended

Server trouble

Computer glitch

Each of these will be addressed below, starting with the simplest and most common. Work your way through this list, and you’ll almost certainly be able to resolve the issue quickly on your own.

Payment Failed to Go Through On Time (Skipped Payment)

When a payment fails to go through on schedule, the system automatically suspends your access to the School. This will be automatically reversed as soon as Paypal puts through the successful payment.

Paypal processes the payments on a set schedule, and if a payment fails to go through the first time, it'll try twice more... 5 days apart.

This doesn’t mean your subscription has been cancelled by Paypal yet. But if it can't go through after 2 more attempts, your subscription will be automatically cancelled. Then it's a bit of a mess to get restarted.

You should contact Paypal as soon as possible to update your payment information or straighten out any confusion they're having.

After fixing the issue, we'll need to wait for Paypal to come to its scheduled 5-day attempt, and once that goes through, your access to the lessons will be automatically and immediately reinstated.

If it doesn’t go through and you're suspended from the course, follow these directions on Re-Enrolling in the Wicca School.

Payment Has Failed ("Automatic payments were suspended")

You'll receive notice of this when a payment failed to go through even after 3 attempts.

This means you've been unregistered from your Year & a Day. You’ll no longer have access to the lessons or any of the other resources.

To continue your Wiccan training, please follow the directions below for Re-Enrolling in the Wicca School.

Incorrect Login Info

If you're having trouble with your login info, there are 5 likely reasons...

Make sure you're using the email address that you used in Paypal to enrol in the class

Make sure you're using your original log-in info rather than any log-in details you received in a later email (for example, if you re-enrolled)

Make sure you're using the correct password, and that your CAPS lock isn't on (passwords are case-sensitive)

Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after your email, log-in name, or password.

If your password still doesn’t work, try resetting it.

Your Year & A Day Has Concluded

Your account becomes inactive when the full Year-and-a-Day course is finished.

If you'd like to take the Alumni course and get access for another year, you can enrol in that class through a link that will be sent to you, by email, as you draw near the end of the course.

You need to be an active student (i.e., able to log in) in order to enrol in the Alumni class. So you need to enrol before the final lesson expires.

Server Trouble

So far this has never happened, but theoretically it could.

The thing to do is check for an email update: if something happened with the website, I'd let you know when to expect it to be up-and-running again.

If you can still log in, go to Student Central and see if there are any updates there.

If not, see the next troubleshooting category...

Computer Glitch

Most of the problems people have with the course fall into this category.

If you've tried all these other fixes without success, the problem is almost certainly with your computer or browser. Unless you've seen notice of service disruption, and yours is the only case of this happening, it means that something is going wrong with your internet service or your computer/browser.

Here's the process for fixing it, starting with the most simple, and building up. If the easy fixes don't work, the later fixes should do the trick.

Test the browser: try opening a different page on another site ... a new page that you've never been to before.
Just do a search and click on something at random, see if you can get through.
If you can open a new website, but still not get into the Year-and-a-Day lessons, go to step 2.

Clear your browser's cache and history.
Then try accessing the lessons again, and if it still doesn't work...

Shut down and restart your computer. Then try again.

If this doesn't work, try opening the lesson in another browser.

If that doesn’t work, try on another computer or device.

Okay, at this point you're needing to try something a little more drastic: hooking up through a different internet server, like going to a friend's house or an internet coffee shop; see if that'll do it.

If none of these steps work, though, you'll probably need to contact your internet provider or computer support people. Hopefully it'll be fixed long before that though.
So you'll need to try all of these before there's anything else we can do.

Payment Issues

Upgrading Levels

You can upgrade your payment tier at any time. Just follow the instructions for re-enrolling.

Please note that any handouts or audio/video material that came out prior to your re-enrolment will not be available, though.

Just to be clear, you get the same course no matter what payment level you're at... the difference is that there are perks at the higher levels.

(All perks should be in place by the end of 2016 — if you've finished the course by then, the appropriate perks will still be made available to you).

For example, at the $70 level, you have the opportunity to audit the course again for free, plus you’ll receive workbooks, handouts, and audio and ideally even video material.

Also at that level, I'm committed to "matching" your integrity and generosity by creating a scholarship opportunity for a person with ongoing restricted income (eg, on disability). So you do a great kindness for others (and the world) when you pay full price for the course.

The current plan is to have stepped-up bonuses for different price levels, so the midrange ($40-50) would receive some things as well. Unfortunately, I've been so swamped fine-tuning the course and answering student emails (as well as health challenges) that I haven't had time to get these details arranged!

The goal is to have these in place by 2017, though.

Need to Postpone Payment

Sometimes people want payments to come out on a different day.

Unfortunately, my options with Paypal are very limited. I can't change the date of payments. I guess it makes sense — a merchant shouldn't be able to go in and change what day you pay, or things like that.

Check with Paypal to see if you can change it from your side. If not, there are 2 options...

You can cancel your original subscription and then resubscribe on the date you prefer.
PROS — Payment goes through on time so no disruption of access to the lessons.

CONS — It's a bit of a fuss, for you and me both, to make that change. Plus your access to the lessons will be suspended as soon as your Paypal subscription is cancelled. (I can't change that, I'm sorry to say; it's automatic.)

You can allow Paypal to try to put the payment through on the regular date, and let it skip that payment when it fails to go through.
Paypal will automatically try again 5 days later, and then a final time 5 days after that. If a 5 or 10 day delay will help, this might be the way you want to go.
PROS — It's easy; don't do anything.
CONS — Payment fails to go through on time, causing a 5- or 10-day block of your access to the lessons.

Putting the Course on Hold

Unfortunately, there's no way to put payments on hold for a while to let you catch up or whatever.

The system is automated, so as soon as you cancel your Paypal subscription, the system will automatically cancel your access as well.

The assumption is that when someone cancels, it's because they're no longer interested in the course. So to keep your access as long as possible, I'd recommend waiting until close to the payment date before cancelling.

Skipped Payment — Want to Pay Now & Renew Access

Paypal processes its subscription payments automatically. If a payment fails to go through ("skips"), it'll try again 5 days later. If that one fails as well, it'll try once more, 5 days after that.

When a payment fails to go through on the first and second attempts, the system automatically suspends your access to the School. This is reversed as soon as the payment goes through successfully.

However, there's nothing I can do to speed up Paypal's system.

In other words, if you ask me to put the payment through the next day because you now have money in your account, there's nothing I can do. We just have to wait for Paypal's schedule to try again.

This can be frustrating, I know, but perhaps the time could be put to good use by catching up on some of the practices or journalling or Book of Shadows notes that you've been wanting to do.

Payment Failed — Want to Re-Enrol in Wicca School

Whether your Paypal subscription was cancelled due to payment problems, or you just needed to drop out of the course at some point, we can get you back in the course. I'm always happy to help you complete your Year & a Day.

The place you need to start is getting Paypal to charge your proper card, or fixing whatever caused the subscription to lapse. Until that's fixed, there's really no point in doing the rest.

Unfortunately, there's no way to restart a Paypal subscription once it's been cancelled. So what you'll need to do is start a new subscription.
In other words, you'd go to the info page and select a payment button again, and start over.
That gets you back in the course.

Next thing is to change is your payment schedule, since you've already made some payments.
How it works is that you can change your subscription, once it's set up, to run for the remaining months only instead of the full term. (The other option is that at the end of the course, you go in and cancel your subscription yourself, so only the 13 payments are made in total.)

Then we need to fix your lesson emails to come out to you again. It's not possible for me to figure out exactly which lesson was the last you completed, so I need you to tell me.
Please let me know what lesson you stopped at, and I'll start you off there.

Once you've resubscribed, I'll need to manually reactivate your account (generally that can be done within a day or three).
It's a good idea to let me know that you've resubscribed. That way I know to keep an eye out, and get your account reactivated.
And then you'll be good to go!

NOTE: To log in, you’ll need to use your original login and password (not the one that was sent out when you re-subscribed).

So, alright, yes, it's a lot easier not to lose your subscription in the first place.

But the good news is, it's a bit fussy but not too difficult to get you back in. And letting you finish your Year & A Day... that's the important thing!

"Profile Cancelled" Message

As you get near the end of the course, you’ll receive an email from Paypal that says "You or your merchant requested PayPal to cancel this account."

I'm not sure why Paypal sends out this notice when your payment period ends, but no worries: you're still in the course!

"Profile Cancelled" just means you won't be charged for the last lessons. You only need to make 13 payments in all, and then you're coasting, receiving the rest for free.

So despite what the email says, you'll still receive the lessons and have full access to the lessons til the end of the course.

You just won't have to pay again! Nifty, eh?

So when you get your notice, you can rest assured all is well and it's really a good thing.

Cancelling Enrolment

If you wish to withdraw from your Year-and-a-Day, you’ll need to cancel your enrolment with Paypal.

I can't cancel your subscription for you, which you can probably understand — Paypal (rightfully) doesn't give me as a merchant the ability to change your subscription.

Clicking the Unsubscribe button on this page will cancel your enrolment AND stop any future payments from your PayPal account.

If you do decide not to continue, though, could you please take a moment to let me know why?

Ongoing Studies

Continuing Access

If you're having difficulty keeping up with the lessons, don't worry: you’re not the only one. It is a very intensive training program. By way of encouragement, let me assure you that the benefits of really investing yourself in something like this are amazing… it will change your life! So good on you for following it through, challenging as it is!

So if many people are struggling to keep up, why are the lessons available only for about 14 months?

It's standard in online educational courses to have access only for a set period of time, just as if you were going to a class at university. The idea is that this motivates people to make the most of the opportunity.

After all, the problem with books is that there's no time-pressure to finish them. That's why they tend to sit on a shelf, barely opened, and hundreds of people who have their own libraries of Wiccan books have signed up for this course instead!

Also most people, by the second year, would probably not make the effort to follow through, so I've been told by experts that it'd be a waste to have it available that long.

More importantly, this is part of the spiritual development. It's far more effective to do a lot of spiritual work intensively for a shorter time, than tinkering with it for years.

However, so many students have asked for more time with these lessons, I've created a way to audit the course for an extra year.

As you get near the end of the course, you’ll receive an email with a link to sign up for this Alumni class.

You have the option of either receiving the lesson emails one by one, just as you did the first year (this is the default option), or you can unsubscribe from the emails and just go through the lessons however works best for you, using the links you received the first year.

Please note: You need to be an active student to access that page, so be sure to enrol by the final lesson. (If you miss the deadline, though, I can help you do it manually.)

This is a great way to really get the most out of this training!

Can't Log-In for Alumni Class

Once you enrol in the Alumni class, you’ll get a message with a new login and password. Please disregard that — it won’t work — so continue to use your original login info.

Your emails will continue to come automatically... except for the first 2 which you'll receive shortly after confirming your email address for this class.

If you prefer not to receive emails, there's an "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of each email.

There’s also a glitch in the system that won’t automatically let you login again. I need to go in and adjust things manually once I see you’ve enrolled.

(If you don’t get access in a couple days, please let me know; I might not have see the notification.)
