Black salt is a versatile tool in witchcraft. Here are some ways to harness its power:

  1. Cleansing Space: Sprinkle black salt around your sacred space and ask it to absorb any negative, destructive, or disharmonious energies. Vacuum it up and the salt will carry it away. You can also sprinkle it around your ritual space to remove stagnant energy or to clear away energetic residues from earlier magick workings.

  2. Creating Protective Barriers: Place small containers of black salt around your home, especially around doors and windowsills, to create a protective boundary for your dwelling and family.

  3. Cleansing and Purifying: Use black salt to cleanse and purify your ritual tools, crystals, and magical items.

  4. Banishing Negative Thoughts / Beliefs / Feelings / Patterns: Write down what you wish to release on a piece of paper, sprinkle black salt over it, and safely burn the paper, visualizing the negative energy dissipating.

  5. Protection Sachet: Create a protective sachet by using black salt (optional: dried lavendar or rose petals) in a small pouch. Carry it with you to ward off negative energies and creating a protective shield around you, guarding against psychic intrusions.
